Growing up, the main thing was to wear green. I hate being pinched (like, loathe it) so I was always on top of that—green shirt, green jewelry, green crafts, green hair paint (this was the 90s, after all). For most of my life, St. Patrick’s Day was basically a holiday of avoidance.

But it’s become a bit more of a thing in the last few years—heck, a leprechaun even visits some homes, Elf-on-the-Shelf-style (not here, because mama ain’t go time to be cleaning up a mess made by an imaginary imp—my actual imps make enough messes, thankyouverymuch). Kids celebrate at school with treats and other goodies as well.

If you’re looking for an extra fun St. Patrick’s Day classroom activity for March 17th, or just want to spend some time relaxing with glass of Guinness, I have a St. Patrick’s Day printable word search for you to download!

This bright green word search puzzle is filled with all sorts of St. Patrick’s Day vocabulary words, like shamrock, rainbow, and pinch. You’ll even find St. Patrick himself hiding in there! I recommend printing them on white cardstock using a laser printer, or having your local print shop print them for you. Then trim down using scissors or a rotary cutter and you’re good to go!

Are you ready for St. Patrick’s Day?

It’ll be here before we know it! Somehow the end of February always sneaks up on me and I’m scrambling to make sure I’ve created something to pinch-proof myself and my boys!

As I worked on these St. Patrick’s Day sublimation designs, one of my boys looked over my shoulder as asked if I was making something for “clover day.” I kind of love that he called it that! I ensured him that I was in fact making something for “clover day”! I added just enough green to these St. Patrick’s Day sublimation designs to make sure no one’s getting pinched this year!

This cute Pinch Proof design is a simple way to create a festive shirt using sublimation printing. I love that sublimation process is able to capture four-color designs and patterns. The shamrocks inside the heart are such a fun detail! Grab a polyester shirt, bag, or even a ceramic mug for sublimation, and create your own St. Patrick’s Day accessories!

While you’re at it, you could create a matching set of shirts with the Lucky Mama and Lucky Mini designs. Use a polyester baby bodysuit and surprise a lucky mom-to-be with an adorable matching set for both her and her little!

I’m planning to use the Happy Go Lucky design to create a throw pillow. You can often find polyester pillow covers like these fun sequin flip pillow covers for sublimation. It’s one of my favorite ways to easily add a bit of holiday decor to my home!

Looking for a simple way to add a pop of green to your St. Patrick’s Day festivities?

These lucky St. Patrick’s Day pennant flags are just what you need! They’re a fun, easy way to add the luck of the Irish (and of course, a bit of rainbow!) to March 17!

I’ve enjoyed designing printable pennant flags so much that I had to make a set for St. Patrick’s Day! We used these Christmas pennants as fun photo props, rang in the new year with these New Year’s Eve flags, and even spread the love with Valentine’s Day flags!

These St. Patrick’s Day flags are a great way to ensure you’re pinch-proof on March 17th and make fun photo opp props, especially with your kiddos! Dress them in green, hand them a flag, and you have yourself a cute St. Patrick’s Day photo!

Maybe that tricky leprechaun will even hide a few around your house. It makes a fun scavenger hunt activity for little ones. Let’s hope those leprechaun traps work this year ;)

How to Assemble the Printable St. Patrick’s Day Pennant Flags

Choose which St. Patrick’s Day pennant flag you want to make. They are sized to print—they’ll be about 8.5″ wide after the dowel is added. I printed on a light cardstock—thicker than printer paper, but still easy to curl around the dowel.

Once printed, cut long the edge of the pennant. I used my paper trimmer! You could also use a rotary cutter, acrylic ruler, and cutting mat to get nice, crisp edges. Scissors work too, of course.

Then wrap the vertical edge of the pennant around a dowel and glue using a hot glue gun.

If desired, add ribbons or tassels to the dowel as extra decoration! Easy peasy!

Do you make leprechaun traps with your little ones? Stickers could be a fun addition to the trap! Make a few sheets for the little ones in your life and let them go to town decorating! If you really get into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit, add a few to a basket or goody bag as a surprise. Or, simply use them to decorate your journal or planner. Everyone loves stickers!

These St. Patrick’s Day stickers are perfect for Cricut’s Print then Cut feature. You simply print the image out on your home printer (I use an HP Printer) then use your Cricut machine to cut the stickers individually. No manual cutting needed! If you haven’t tried Print then Cut, definitely check out my post The Ultimate Guide to Cricut Print then Cut. I walk you through step-by-step!

If you’re looking for a tutorial specifically for stickers, check out my Fall Stickers tutorial. You follow the exact same process with these St. Patrick’s Day stickers.

I prefer to use Cricut Printable Vinyl rather than sticker paper when creating my own stickers. It’s not waterproof, however, so if you may want to try something like these waterproof labels if you’re adding stickers to something that will be washed. If you’d prefer to use Cricut Printable Vinyl, you can add a clear laminate over top, which will also protect it from water and help it withstand elements, in general. Be on the lookout for a tutorial on that soon!

Note that Print then Cut does not work with Cricut Joy. Joy doesn’t have the sensors that read your image. So you’ll need a Cricut Maker 3, Cricut Explore 3, Cricut Maker, Cricut Explore Air 2, or other Cricut Explore machine.

Somehow I blinked and February is more than halfway over!

Before we know it, St. Patrick’s Day will be here. While we don’t typically do much for the day, I do try and dress myself and the boys in green. Mainly because I despise being pinched! Can we agree that’s a silly “tradition” we can stop doing? But just in case, I created these St. Patrick’s Day gnome designs so we’re covered!

Gnomes are popping up everywhere these days, so I knew I had to create a version specifically for St. Patrick’s Day. These little guys just seem to fit well with the Irish theme! Check out all my gnome SVGs for a bunch of holidays.

Can you believe it’s nearly March?!

That means St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner!

My family usually doesn’t go too crazy, but I make sure to wear green because I HATE being pinched! This year we’ll do some St. Patrick’s Day games for homeschool and I’ll probably make something festive for dinner (like colcannon—my absolute FAVE)!

I still like to make matching holiday shirts for my twin boys—for now, they still let me!
