I sort of hesitated on whether or not to make some funny cards right now. The amount of suffering and loss from COVID-19 is utterly overwhelming and I find myself overcome with grief sometimes. I know I’m not alone.

But the other day, I got a hilarious handmade card in the mail. It was from a friend who lives on the other side of the country and I can’t tell you how much it lifted my spirits. Honestly, in the darkest times we all could use a reason to laugh—it’s good for the heart!

So I designed these free printable cards so you can stay in touch with family and friends and bring a little laughter to someone’s day! Head to the bottom of this post to grab even more printable cards, too!

Keeping in touch with loved ones through Zoom calls, FaceTime, and text messaging has been a lifesaver! I am extremely grateful that we have technology to help us feel so connected, even when we can’t connect in person. This would have been a different story even just ten years ago.

But even with all of that tech, there’s nothing like receiving snail mail to brighten someone’s day!

Social Distancing Cards

We love Easter time at my house. Celebrating Spring, Jesus, and new life just calls for celebrations! And this year I’m especially excited to help my twin boys dye Easter eggs and watch them hunt for them around our yard!

You can get your kids ready for Easter and egg hunts with this printable Easter egg tracing worksheet!

It’s a perfect activity for preschoolers and kindergarteners to practice shapes and tracing. And it will get everyone excited for all the Easter egg activities!

You can also use this worksheet to teach colors, patterns, and shapes. Younger kids can also color it for a fun indoor activity.

Last week I shared a cute printable Father’s Day coloring page—and today I’m sharing another fun Father’s Day coloring project! Whether you get dad a store-bought present or make something handmade, you can use these card and tags to make your present more personal—they are designed to be colored! They are the perfect addition that allows kids to add their own personal touch to a Father’s Day gift.

I love the idea of having kids color artwork for Father’s Day—I know my husband, at least, would rather have something sweetly made for him by our boys than another tie (who am I kidding, I’ve NEVER bought a tie for my husband. I know that not all men are outdoorsy, but I do think these hit a broader swath of men than most cards!
