The Fourth of July is just around the corner, and for Americans this is a day where we celebrate liberty and freedom.

Whether you’re joining in a neighborhood parade, getting together for family picnics, or waiting for the fireworks to go off so you can enjoy the spectacle with your kids, the 4th of July is a time to celebrate.

While America isn’t perfect by any stretch (and some days does it feel like a streeeetch), I do value living here in the United States. So to celebrate the 4th of July and to remember the birth of our nation, I’ve designed four coordinating printable 4th of July quotes for you to download and print yourself!

All four 4th of July quotes are lines from famous patriotic songs and the pledge of allegiance that talk about freedom. I used a slightly more soft red and blue rather than the traditional royal blue and cherry red to give them a little vintage Americana feel.

These free printables are designed at 8.5″ x 11″, these can fit into a standard 8″ x 10″ frame with a little trimming. You can also change the print size in your software so you can use them in smaller frames on as artwork on invitations.

Halloween sure can be tricky if you have a little one with food allergies or intolerances!

I’ve learned first-hand how difficult trick-or-treating is with a kid who has a dairy intolerance. It’s always such a bummer to have to go through his candy bucket and pull out all the candy he can’t eat (which is A LOT of it).

Because of my son’s intolerance, it’s made me so much more aware of what I offer to other trick or treaters on Halloween. While candy is delicious, sometimes it can be downright dangerous for kids with allergies!

Thankfully, there’s a really great initiative called the Teal Pumpkin Project. To participate, you put out a teal pumpkin (or this teal pumpkin printable!) and offer a non-candy toy or trinket. Of course, you can still offer candy to anyone who wants it! This is just an alternative for those kids who may not be able to take a piece of candy for fear of an allergic reaction.

To make it super easy to participate, I’ve created a teal pumpkin printable. Simply print out the file and hang in your window or on your front door. Easy peasy! If you want to do something a bit more “crafty,” I created a teal pumpkin felt banner last year that you can cut with your Cricut machine.

We’re once again coming up on Shark Week! There are tons of awesome (jawsome!) shows about sharks happening, and, I kid you not, Olympian Michael Phelps is going to race a great white shark. Because apparently that’s what you do when you’re the fastest guy in the water. Or…if you’re any old person and you’re being chased by a great white. Ha!

I’m always up for a shark project or design, so I’ve whipped up a couple of shark printables for you today. The first features a great white and says YOU’RE JAWSOME! The second is a hammerhead and hearkens back to my junior high school days with STOP. HAMMER TIME! (We’re not going to talk about how old that makes me, okay?)

These shark printables would be adorable in a shark-themed nursery or kid’s room, or you could print them out for a shark party!

When I shared our adventure themed nursery a few months ago, I said I’d be sharing the printable files for the two mountain prints I designed for our gallery wall above the changing table.

Then I totally forgot. I blame mom brain. (Can we all agree that “mom brain” is basically the best excuse ever?) And it is a real thing.

A reader recently asked if I’d ever shared them, so here I am now!

I loved designing these photos for my boys’ nursery with this beautiful photo as the background.

My favorite part about these prints is that the background photos are actually the same photo, cut in two. Which makes the go so well together, with the clouds streaming outward.

I love how they look different enough, but still cohesive! They are the perfect wall art for our twin boy’s adventure nursery!

Each is a high-resolution PDF meant to fit in a 12″ x 16″ IKEA Ribba frame, but it can be trimmed down to fit an 11″ x 14″ frame or resized to fit smaller frames as well.

You can read more about our twin nursery! Now that our boys are older, we really want to instill a love of adventure in them. We love going to new places together. And, parenting really has been the greatest adventure that we have ever embarked on. I don’t think anything will ever top it!

Today I have a free printable Irish Blessing for you! This is one of my favorite blessings or proverbs of all time. I heard it years ago at a wedding and it’s always stuck with me the most direct things we could ever want in this life.

May you always have walls for the winds,
a roof for the rain, tea beside the fire,
laughter to cheer you, those you love near you,
and all that your heart might desire.

Isn’t it just lovely?

This digital download is a PDF file. Print this traditional Irish blessing on high-quality cardstock and frame it. I designed it around St. Patrick’s Day, but it works for any season, particularly if you’re Irish. And thanks to St. Patrick’s Day, we know that it is always okay to be a little bit Irish on March 17th!
