Last week I shared a ton of patriotic printables for you to print for the 4th of July! This week, I’ve rounded up my favorite free 4th of July SVG cut files—designed to be cut on your Cricut Maker, Cricut Explore, or even Cricut Joy (for smaller projects)!

There are all sorts of projects here—patriotic party decor, 4th of July shirt ideas, and home decor just for a start! You’ll find paper projects, ideas using adhesive vinyl and iron on (HTV or heat transfer vinyl), as well as SVG files for crafting projects out of your favorite material!

Raise your hand if you love Disney!

My husband and I were recently talking about what age is perfect for a kid’s first Disney trip. We’re thinking of maybe taking our twins when they are seven years old—if you have any opinions, please let me know in the comments!

We’re excited to make some Disney memories with them, like we had growing up. In addition to a few visits when I was a kid, I actually had a season pass to Disneyland all four years I was in college.

There’s nothing better than Disneyland on a drizzly Tuesday in February—you practically have the park to yourself!

Raise your hand if you have fond memories of paper advent calendars! Every morning, you excitedly open up the tiny paper door and devour a little piece of waxy chocolate in the shape of a teddy bear or a rocking horse or maybe even a candle. Ah, memories! It’s true, Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year for a reason and it’s so fun to count down the days, especially as a child!

I love putting my own special spin on childhood traditions and I get excited to create new traditions with my little family. My boys are getting old enough that they are remembering the holidays and the different ways we celebrate, so I’m  all about making new traditions. And any anytime I can bring a DIY project into the celebration, even better! You can bet we are counting down the days until Christmas this year, but we are leaving the waxy chocolate at the store.
